We are from Philly and have dinner here with our grandmother when we visit the lake house. You feel like your going back in time, it's a very unique little place and servers very polite! Food is tasty and you will leave stuffed. Dessert is included so save room with each course! Go lite on the salad bar

Do these people ever get out? This place was a mess. I understand it was supposed to have a lodge feel, but everything was SO outdated; the bathroom even had a removable toilet safety railing fitted to the bowl. The salad bar that everyone loves is NOTHING: it was a bowl of lettuce, potato salad and pasta salad. When I hear "salad bar" I think Ruby Tuesday (now, THAT'S a salad bar). My mother ordered eggplant parm (she even confirmed with the server that it would be delicious). I am no foodie, but once her dish arrived I knew that it was defrosted eggplant patties covered in sauce. The lighting was so dark, I almost fell asleep at the table. I was surprised that it was still light out after dinner. I think the locals need to get out more often, and not to this place.

We took the old ford out for a cruise Sunday and checked out the Bearcreek inn. WOW! Charming clean dining room very friendly helpful waitstaff. Everything was excellent! A few more items came out to the salad bar after we had our salads however we did get there a little early for dinner. 2:00pm. That's the only negative. Fresh salad bar, fresh tasty rolls, what tasted like homemade soup. Large food portions, prepared to perfection! And dessert included! Red lobster gets bumped way back. More food, better tasting, for much less money. I would give this place a 10 if I could!! 2 full delicious dinners for 50 bucks! We will make the 50 minute drive again!

Maybe three and a half. Nothing outstanding, but not a disaster. Salad bar was fresh. Mushroom spinach soup was tasty ( J. thought it was "ehhh"). Chicken Florentine was a bit bland and uninspiring. Chicken Francaise was ok. Box mashed potatoes (why?). Good bread. Service wasn't exactly snappy, but in their defense, there was a large private party in the next room. All in all, two full meals with dessert, several cocktails for around $50. Can't really beat that. Don't expect a culinary revelation, and you won't be disappointed. Oh! The Yelp map is wrong. This place is right on 115 , just north of White Haven Rd.

A family friend suggested we try this place out while up for Memorial Day, and we were not disappointed. We made reservations for 4 just in case and the staff was very friendly and understanding when we arrived a few minutes late (got lost...oops!). Every entree comes with the salad bar, soup and dessert...what a deal! For $16 I got the daily blackened Mahi Mahi (absolutely delicious) with onion soup, the salad bar, and dessert (homemade strawberry shortcake). Other entrees my family ordered included the Chicken Marsala and prime rib, both were excellent. The Boston cream pie was home made as well and looked very good. I highly recommend this place. Well worth the 30 minute drive to get there!

We eat in many restaurants and this is one of our favorites. My husband swears by the lamb chops and I have had many great things on the menu too. The bread is great. The soups are great and all of the desserts are wonderful too and included with your meal. I always have something left over for the next day. The staff works hard and is very efficient. The atmosphere is very laid back and cozy. Never pretentious or uptight, everyone should feel right at home.

Very good food and value for money - 4 course meal was only 25 per person including wine. Good ambience and friendly service. Best place to eat while staying at the inn next door
